The Doctoral Programme in Cellular and Molecular Biology is aimed at training physicians so they can build a solid research and teaching career in the modern cellular and molecular biology field (CMB). This programme was selected as a Quality Doctorate Programme by the Ministry of Education and Science in 1994 and since then, it has been recognised as such and received the Excellence Award. Its main lines of research are molecular biology, systems biology, neurobiology, microbiology, and developmental biology.
