Lorena Aguilar Cano es investigadora responsable del grupo Rehabilitation, Innovation and Quality of Life<\/a> FE-18 de IBIMA.<\/p>\n

Lorena Aguilar Cano<\/strong>, MD, PhD, es m\u00e9dica especialista en Medicina F\u00edsica y Rehabilitaci\u00f3n y en Medicina Familiar y Comunitaria<\/strong>, y desarrolla su actividad cl\u00ednica en el University Regional Hospital of M\u00e1laga<\/strong>, vinculada a la Universidad de M\u00e1laga<\/strong>. Su perfil integra pr\u00e1ctica asistencial, investigaci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica y enfoque comunitario, con especial atenci\u00f3n a la poblaci\u00f3n mayor.<\/p>\n

Su l\u00ednea de investigaci\u00f3n se centra en la fragilidad<\/strong>, la calidad de vida relacionada con la salud<\/strong> y los factores cl\u00ednicos y sociales asociados al envejecimiento<\/strong> en personas mayores que viven en la comunidad. Ha publicado estudios relevantes en revistas internacionales indexadas, como Journal of Clinical Medicine<\/em>, analizando la prevalencia de la fragilidad y su impacto funcional mediante modelos estad\u00edsticos avanzados.<\/p>\n

Desde un enfoque multidisciplinar, su trabajo contribuye a la identificaci\u00f3n precoz de la fragilidad<\/strong>, la optimizaci\u00f3n de estrategias de rehabilitaci\u00f3n y prevenci\u00f3n<\/strong>, y la mejora de la atenci\u00f3n integral a pacientes mayores<\/strong>, alineando la rehabilitaci\u00f3n, la atenci\u00f3n primaria y la investigaci\u00f3n aplicada a resultados en salud.<\/p>\n
