Su investigaci\u00f3n ha abordado la interacci\u00f3n plaqueta-pared vascular y los procesos tromb\u00f3ticos asociados a la isquemia.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"850\" data-end=\"1173\">Ha publicado <strong data-start=\"863\" data-end=\"909\">113 art\u00edculos cient\u00edficos indexados en JCR<\/strong>, de los cuales el <strong data-start=\"928\" data-end=\"936\">78 %<\/strong> se sit\u00faan en el <strong data-start=\"953\" data-end=\"976\">primer cuartil (Q1)<\/strong>. Ha presentado <strong data-start=\"992\" data-end=\"1014\">262 comunicaciones<\/strong> en congresos nacionales e internacionales. Sus trabajos han recibido <strong data-start=\"1084\" data-end=\"1099\">2.485 citas<\/strong>, con una media de <strong data-start=\"1118\" data-end=\"1138\">71 citas anuales<\/strong>, y presenta un <strong data-start=\"1154\" data-end=\"1172\">\u00edndice h de 28<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1175\" data-end=\"1527\">Ha dirigido o codirigido <strong data-start=\"1200\" data-end=\"1223\">77 tesis doctorales<\/strong>, contribuyendo de forma destacada a la formaci\u00f3n de investigadores. Su actividad cient\u00edfica ha sido reconocida con la concesi\u00f3n de <strong data-start=\"1355\" data-end=\"1389\">seis sexenios de investigaci\u00f3n<\/strong> por la Comisi\u00f3n Nacional de Evaluaci\u00f3n Cient\u00edfica y <strong data-start=\"1442\" data-end=\"1471\">cuatro tramos auton\u00f3micos<\/strong> por la Comisi\u00f3n Andaluza de Evaluaci\u00f3n de Complementos.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1529\" data-end=\"1846\">Sus l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n han permitido caracterizar procesos de <strong data-start=\"1596\" data-end=\"1624\">isquemia post-tromb\u00f3tica<\/strong>, especialmente a nivel <strong data-start=\"1648\" data-end=\"1672\">retiniano y cerebral<\/strong>, en modelos experimentales de diabetes.
