Es m\u00e9dico especialista en Urolog\u00eda (MD, PhD, FEBU) y Jefe del Servicio de Urolog\u00eda del <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Hospital Cl\u00ednico Universitario Virgen de la Victoria<\/span><\/span>.<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"659\" data-end=\"1025\">Es Licenciado en Medicina y Cirug\u00eda por la <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Universidad de M\u00e1laga<\/span><\/span> (2006). Realiz\u00f3 la especialidad de Urolog\u00eda v\u00eda MIR en el Hospital Virgen de la Victoria (2007\u20132012). Obtuvo la menci\u00f3n al mejor expediente. En 2012 complet\u00f3 formaci\u00f3n investigadora en <strong data-start=\"929\" data-end=\"980\">regeneraci\u00f3n tisular aplicada a cirug\u00eda uretral<\/strong> en el <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Wake Forest Institute of Regenerative Medicine<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1027\" data-end=\"1498\">Posee el t\u00edtulo europeo de laparoscopia <strong data-start=\"1067\" data-end=\"1077\">E-BLUS<\/strong> (2012) y el <strong data-start=\"1090\" data-end=\"1119\">European Board of Urology<\/strong> (2015). Obtuvo el Doctorado en Medicina por la Universidad de M\u00e1laga en 2016, con calificaci\u00f3n <strong data-start=\"1215\" data-end=\"1228\">Cum Laude<\/strong>, dentro del programa de oncopatolog\u00eda. Cuenta adem\u00e1s con formaci\u00f3n en gesti\u00f3n sanitaria (IESE), metodolog\u00eda de la investigaci\u00f3n, transferencia tecnol\u00f3gica, propiedad industrial y creaci\u00f3n de spin-offs, as\u00ed como en microcirug\u00eda, laparoscopia avanzada y cirug\u00eda rob\u00f3tica.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1500\" data-end=\"1881\">Experto en el diagn\u00f3stico y tratamiento de <strong data-start=\"1546\" data-end=\"1573\">tumores genitourinarios<\/strong>, incluyendo c\u00e1ncer de pr\u00f3stata, urotelial, renal, testicular, uretral y de pene. Desarrolla cirug\u00eda convencional, laparosc\u00f3pica 3D y rob\u00f3tica, as\u00ed como cirug\u00eda reconstructiva uretral compleja. Es miembro activo de la red <strong data-start=\"1795\" data-end=\"1805\">ITEMAS<\/strong> y del grupo de medicina personalizada y diagn\u00f3stico avanzado de <strong data-start=\"1870\" data-end=\"1880\">ASEBIO<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1883\" data-end=\"2227\">Desarrolla tambi\u00e9n una intensa labor docente. Es Profesor Asociado de la Universidad de M\u00e1laga y tutor de residentes de Urolog\u00eda en el Hospital Virgen de la Victoria.
