Inici\u00f3 su trayectoria investigadora durante la licenciatura en Medicina en la <strong data-start=\"786\" data-end=\"827\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Universidad de M\u00e1laga<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, con formaci\u00f3n experimental en <strong data-start=\"859\" data-end=\"874\">laboratorio<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"876\" data-end=\"912\">microscop\u00eda \u00f3ptica y electr\u00f3nica<\/strong> y participaci\u00f3n temprana en <strong data-start=\"941\" data-end=\"966\">congresos cient\u00edficos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"969\" data-end=\"1420\">Tras su formaci\u00f3n sanitaria especializada, orient\u00f3 su investigaci\u00f3n a la <strong data-start=\"1042\" data-end=\"1082\">investigaci\u00f3n cl\u00ednico-epidemiol\u00f3gica<\/strong>, desarrollando de forma continuada, desde 1989, estudios centrados en <strong data-start=\"1153\" data-end=\"1172\">calidad de vida<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1174\" data-end=\"1193\">morbimortalidad<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1195\" data-end=\"1221\">adherencia terap\u00e9utica<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1223\" data-end=\"1252\">preferencias del paciente<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1254\" data-end=\"1272\">polimedicaci\u00f3n<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1275\" data-end=\"1294\">multimorbilidad<\/strong>, especialmente en pacientes con <strong data-start=\"1327\" data-end=\"1348\">diabetes mellitus<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1350\" data-end=\"1375\">hipertensi\u00f3n arterial<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1377\" data-end=\"1385\">EPOC<\/strong> y enfermedades cr\u00f3nicas complejas.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1422\" data-end=\"1468\">Sus <strong data-start=\"1426\" data-end=\"1453\">l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n<\/strong> se centran en:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1469\" data-end=\"1733\">\n<li data-start=\"1469\" data-end=\"1559\">\n<p data-start=\"1471\" data-end=\"1559\"><strong data-start=\"1471\" data-end=\"1497\">Adherencia terap\u00e9utica<\/strong> en pacientes cr\u00f3nicos mediante <strong data-start=\"1529\" data-end=\"1558\">intervenciones educativas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1560\" data-end=\"1666\">\n<p data-start=\"1562\" data-end=\"1666\"><strong data-start=\"1562\" data-end=\"1598\">Multimorbilidad y polimedicaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, con foco en la <strong data-start=\"1615\" data-end=\"1665\">mejora de la prescripci\u00f3n en Atenci\u00f3n Primaria<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1667\" data-end=\"1733\">\n<p data-start=\"1669\" data-end=\"1733\"><strong data-start=\"1669\" data-end=\"1703\">Evaluaci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica y econ\u00f3mica<\/strong> de intervenciones sanitarias.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1735\" data-end=\"2094\">Entre sus <strong data-start=\"1745\" data-end=\"1774\">resultados m\u00e1s relevantes<\/strong> destaca el <strong data-start=\"1786\" data-end=\"1848\">dise\u00f1o y evaluaci\u00f3n de intervenciones educativas efectivas<\/strong> para mejorar la adherencia terap\u00e9utica en la pr\u00e1ctica cl\u00ednica habitual, as\u00ed como la <strong data-start=\"1933\" data-end=\"1969\">intervenci\u00f3n formativa eMULTIPAP<\/strong>, un <strong data-start=\"1974\" data-end=\"2000\">curso online tipo MOOC<\/strong> dirigido a la formaci\u00f3n de m\u00e9dicos y enfermeros que atienden a pacientes con multimorbilidad.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2096\" data-end=\"2537\">Desarrolla una intensa <strong data-start=\"2119\" data-end=\"2152\">actividad docente y formativa<\/strong>, especialmente en la <strong data-start=\"2174\" data-end=\"2263\">Unidad Docente Multiprofesional de Atenci\u00f3n Familiar y Comunitaria M\u00e1laga-Guadalhorce. All\u00ed <\/strong>impulsa el desarrollo de j\u00f3venes investigadores mediante la <strong data-start=\"2331\" data-end=\"2361\">tutorizaci\u00f3n de residentes<\/strong>, estudiantes de grado y m\u00e1ster, y profesionales sanitarios.
