Manuel Mac\u00edas Gonz\u00e1lez Investigador Senior del Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n Biom\u00e9dica de M\u00e1laga (IBIMA) y coinvestigador responsable del grupo Obesidad, Diabetes y sus Comorbilidades<\/a> (A-02), con una s\u00f3lida trayectoria nacional e internacional en el \u00e1mbito de la endocrinolog\u00eda molecular y la investigaci\u00f3n traslacional en enfermedades cr\u00f3nicas no transmisibles. Desde 2004 desarrolla su actividad investigadora en IBIMA, donde ha obtenido cuatro contratos de excelencia y ha liderado de forma consecutiva cinco proyectos competitivos FIS del Instituto de Salud Carlos III, consolidando un grupo de investigaci\u00f3n centrado en el estudio de nuevos mecanismos moleculares gen\u00e9ticos y epigen\u00e9ticos implicados en obesidad, diabetes, enfermedad cardiovascular y c\u00e1ncer.<\/h4>\n

Es Investigador Principal de cinco proyectos FIS-ISCIII en los \u00faltimos 15 a\u00f1os. Adem\u00e1s de tres proyectos financiados por el Servicio Andaluz de Salud y dos por la Consejer\u00eda de Innovaci\u00f3n de la Junta de Andaluc\u00eda. Ha participado como colaborador en numerosos proyectos competitivos a nivel regional, nacional y europeo.<\/p>\n

En el \u00e1mbito asistencial e investigador, desde 2014 es Investigador vinculado a la Unidad de Gesti\u00f3n Cl\u00ednica de Endocrinolog\u00eda y Nutrici\u00f3n del Hospital Universitario Virgen de la Victoria de M\u00e1laga. Actualmente, ha desempe\u00f1ado la codirecci\u00f3n del grupo de investigaci\u00f3n de IBIMA y del nodo de M\u00e1laga del CIBER de Obesidad y Nutrici\u00f3n (CIBEROBN). Adem\u00e1s de ser Coordinador del Laboratorio de Investigaci\u00f3n Biom\u00e9dica del Hospital Universitario Virgen de la Victoria.<\/p>\n

Su producci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica incluye m\u00e1s de 150 publicaciones cient\u00edficas<\/strong> entre art\u00edculos originales, revisiones y ediciones, con 5.511 citas<\/strong> y un \u00edndice H de 36<\/strong> (Google Scholar). En los \u00faltimos cinco a\u00f1os ha publicado 50 art\u00edculos, la mayor\u00eda en revistas del primer cuartil (Q1), siendo autor principal o de correspondencia en aproximadamente la mitad de ellos. Es adem\u00e1s inventor de nueve patentes nacionales<\/strong>, tres de ellas internacionalizadas y una con explotaci\u00f3n comercial activa, reflejando una elevada capacidad de transferencia tecnol\u00f3gica al \u00e1mbito de la salud.<\/p>\n

Cuenta con una destacada actividad docente, con experiencia en titulaciones de Grado, Experto Universitario y M\u00e1ster Universitario desde 2016. Es Director Responsable del M\u00e1ster de T\u00edtulos Propios en Obesidad y Diabetes de la Universidad de M\u00e1laga. Ha dirigido seis tesis doctorales, as\u00ed como trabajos fin de m\u00e1ster y de grado, participando activamente en la formaci\u00f3n y supervisi\u00f3n de investigadores en etapas tempranas.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
