D<\/span><\/span><\/strong>esarrolla su actividad docente e investigadora en la <strong data-start=\"662\" data-end=\"689\">E.T.S.I. de Inform\u00e1tica<\/strong>. Forma parte del <strong data-start=\"707\" data-end=\"801\">Instituto Universitario de Investigaci\u00f3n en Tecnolog\u00edas Ling\u00fc\u00edsticas Multiling\u00fces (IUITLM)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"804\" data-end=\"1084\">Es <strong data-start=\"807\" data-end=\"846\">Doctor por la Universidad de M\u00e1laga<\/strong>, con una tesis centrada en <strong data-start=\"874\" data-end=\"898\">aprendizaje neuronal<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"900\" data-end=\"932\">detecci\u00f3n de caracter\u00edsticas<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"935\" data-end=\"966\">modelos de redes neuronales. Esto <\/strong>marca el inicio de su trayectoria en <strong data-start=\"1009\" data-end=\"1083\">inteligencia artificial y computaci\u00f3n inspirada en sistemas biol\u00f3gicos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1086\" data-end=\"1377\">Su <strong data-start=\"1089\" data-end=\"1125\">l\u00ednea principal de investigaci\u00f3n<\/strong> se centra en la <strong data-start=\"1142\" data-end=\"1195\">inteligencia computacional aplicada a biomedicina<\/strong><span data-start=\"1142\" data-end=\"1195\">. Por su parte, incluye <\/span><strong data-start=\"1208\" data-end=\"1234\">aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1236\" data-end=\"1261\">modelos bioinspirados<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1263\" data-end=\"1295\">an\u00e1lisis de datos biom\u00e9dicos<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1297\" data-end=\"1322\">sistemas inteligentes<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1325\" data-end=\"1376\">apoyo computacional a la investigaci\u00f3n en salud<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1379\" data-end=\"1742\">Cuenta con una <strong data-start=\"1394\" data-end=\"1431\">producci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica consolidada<\/strong>, con <strong data-start=\"1437\" data-end=\"1465\">m\u00e1s de 100 publicaciones<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1467\" data-end=\"1489\">m\u00e1s de 4.000 citas<\/strong>, y un <strong data-start=\"1496\" data-end=\"1522\">\u00edndice h superior a 30<\/strong>, lo que refleja su impacto internacional en el \u00e1mbito de la <strong data-start=\"1583\" data-end=\"1653\">computaci\u00f3n y la inteligencia artificial aplicada a la biomedicina<\/strong>.
