Carlos Rocha de Lossada<\/strong> es Investigador Responsable del grupo emergente de Oftalmolog\u00eda<\/a> CE-20 de IBIMA<\/strong>. M<\/span>\u00e9dico especialista en Oftalmolog\u00eda<\/strong> con actividad cl\u00ednica en Almer\u00eda y M\u00e1laga<\/strong>. Es licenciado en Medicina y Cirug\u00eda<\/strong> por la Universidad de C\u00f3rdoba<\/strong> y especialista en Oftalmolog\u00eda<\/strong> por el Hospital Regional Universitario de M\u00e1laga<\/strong>.<\/h4>\n

Ha completado formaci\u00f3n avanzada con un fellowship en el Hospital Cl\u00ednic de Barcelona<\/strong> y un observership en el Royal Liverpool University Hospital (Reino Unido)<\/strong>. Esta trayectoria le ha permitido consolidar una amplia experiencia quir\u00fargica y cl\u00ednica.<\/p>\n

Experto en cirug\u00eda de la presbicia<\/strong>, cirug\u00eda refractiva<\/strong> (miop\u00eda, hipermetrop\u00eda y astigmatismo), cirug\u00eda de la catarata<\/strong> y trasplantes de c\u00f3rnea<\/strong> (penetrante, DMEK, DSAEK y DALK). Combina la actividad asistencial<\/strong> con la docencia universitaria<\/strong>, siendo profesor asociado<\/strong> en la Universidad de Sevilla<\/strong>. Mantiene una producci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica muy relevante<\/strong>, con m\u00e1s de 100 art\u00edculos publicados en revistas indexadas<\/strong> y participaci\u00f3n como autor y coautor de cap\u00edtulos de libro<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
