Francisco \u00c1ngel Moreno Due\u00f1as es coinvestigador responsable del grupo MAPIR (Machine Perception and Intelligent Robotics Group)<\/a> y coordinador de IBIMA Tech<\/a><\/p>\n

Es Profesor Titular de la Universidad de M\u00e1laga, en el Departamento de Ingenier\u00eda de Sistemas y Autom\u00e1tica, desde 2023. Inici\u00f3 su carrera acad\u00e9mica con una Licenciatura en Ingenier\u00eda de Telecomunicaci\u00f3n en la Universidad de M\u00e1laga en 2007 y un Doctorado en Mecatr\u00f3nica por la misma instituci\u00f3n en 2015.<\/p>\n

Ha trabajado en el grupo del Instituto y la propia Universidad de M\u00e1laga, \u2018Machine Perception and Intelligent Robotics Lab (MAPIR)\u2019 desde 2006, donde actualmente es Co-Investigador Responsable, desarrollando proyectos centrados en rob\u00f3tica m\u00f3vil, visi\u00f3n por computador y percepci\u00f3n artificial.<\/p>\n

Durante su etapa predoctoral, realiz\u00f3 una estancia de investigaci\u00f3n en la Universidad de Bristol (2011) y una colaboraci\u00f3n en un proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n con la Universidad de Lincoln (2013), ambas en Reino Unido. En estas experiencias internacionales, trabaj\u00f3 en el an\u00e1lisis y la descripci\u00f3n autom\u00e1tica de im\u00e1genes y en el desarrollo de sistemas de percepci\u00f3n para la agricultura, influenciando significativamente su trabajo de doctorado y posteriores investigaciones.<\/p>\n

En cuanto a su producci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica, ha publicado 23 art\u00edculos en revistas indexadas en ISI-JCR y otras m\u00e1s de 20 contribuciones a congresos. Entre sus publicaciones destacadas se encuentran art\u00edculos sobre sistemas de percepci\u00f3n para robots m\u00f3viles y datasets multisensoriales ampliamente citados. Tambi\u00e9n ha realizado colaboraciones con otros grupos del Instituto desarrollando sistemas de an\u00e1lisis y seguimiento autom\u00e1tico del movimiento humano, lo que deriv\u00f3 en la publicaci\u00f3n de un conjunto de art\u00edculos.<\/p>\n

A nivel internacional, ha participado en varios proyectos europeos, especialmente centrados en la rob\u00f3tica asistencial para personas mayores y en los sistemas de navegaci\u00f3n para robots dentro de las casas, as\u00ed como en proyectos nacionales financiados con tem\u00e1ticas similares.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
