Elena Gonz\u00e1lez Mu\u00f1oz es investigadora responsable del grupo HE-01 Reprogramaci\u00f3n celular (iPSCs) y modelos celulares de enfermedad para aplicaciones biom\u00e9dicas<\/a><\/h3>\n

Es Profesora Titular en la Universidad de M\u00e1laga en el Departamento de Biolog\u00eda Celular, Gen\u00e9tica y Fisiolog\u00eda de la Universidad de M\u00e1laga al que se incorpor\u00f3 en 2016. Es adem\u00e1s investigadora responsable del grupo de \u201cReprogramaci\u00f3n Celular y Modelos celulares para aplicaciones biom\u00e9dicas\u201d. Licenciada en Biolog\u00eda por la Universidad de Sevilla. Doctorada en Biomedicina por la Universidad de Barcelona.<\/h4>\n

Ha realizado estancias postdoctorales tanto nacionales, en el Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n Biom\u00e9dica de Barcelona para estudiar el papel de la divisi\u00f3n asim\u00e9trica de las \u201ccancer stem cells\u201d en los oligodendriomas. Adem\u00e1s de en la Universidad Estatal de Michigan para investigar la reprogramaci\u00f3n celular, destacando su art\u00edculo en Science sobre factores del ovocito humano y pluripotencia.<\/p>\n

Desde 2016, lidera proyectos en el Instituto, incluyendo estudios sobre esclerosis m\u00faltiple, con publicaciones recientes. Su l\u00ednea de investigaci\u00f3n principal est\u00e1 enfocada en fen\u00f3menos epigen\u00e9ticos durante la reprogramaci\u00f3n celular as\u00ed como su uso para generar modelos celulares de patolog\u00edas, con financiaci\u00f3n del \u00abPlan Retos de MINECO\u201d y de la Consejer\u00eda de Universidad, Investigaci\u00f3n e Innovaci\u00f3n y de la Universidad de M\u00e1laga.\u00a0 Acreditada en el programa I3, ha supervisado a 10 estudiantes de m\u00e1ster y est\u00e1 supervisando a dos doctorandos. Es miembro vocal de comit\u00e9s de \u00e9tica en la investigaci\u00f3n en Andaluc\u00eda y colabora con varios grupos nacionales e internacionales en investigaci\u00f3n celular y biom\u00e9dica. Cuenta con m\u00e1s de 22 publicaciones cient\u00edficas internacionales de impacto en revista incluidas en JCR\u00a0 y ha liderado 6 proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n competitivos en los \u00faltimos 5 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n
