Desarrolla su actividad asistencial, docente e investigadora en el <strong data-start=\"649\" data-end=\"706\">Hospital Universitario Virgen de la Victoria (M\u00e1laga)<\/strong> y en el <strong data-start=\"715\" data-end=\"773\">Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n Biom\u00e9dica de M\u00e1laga (IBIMA)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"776\" data-end=\"1253\">Es especialista en <strong data-start=\"795\" data-end=\"823\">Enfermedades Infecciosas<\/strong>, con una s\u00f3lida trayectoria investigadora centrada en la <strong data-start=\"881\" data-end=\"902\">infecci\u00f3n por VIH<\/strong>, los <strong data-start=\"908\" data-end=\"972\">cambios metab\u00f3licos asociados al tratamiento antirretroviral<\/strong>, el <strong data-start=\"977\" data-end=\"1007\">perfil lip\u00eddico y hormonal<\/strong>, las <strong data-start=\"1013\" data-end=\"1041\">citoquinas inflamatorias<\/strong> y su impacto cl\u00ednico. Su tesis doctoral analiz\u00f3 de forma integral los <strong data-start=\"1112\" data-end=\"1252\">par\u00e1metros metab\u00f3licos e inmunol\u00f3gicos en pacientes con VIH antes y despu\u00e9s del inicio del tratamiento antirretroviral de gran actividad<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1255\" data-end=\"1574\">Cuenta con una amplia experiencia en <strong data-start=\"1292\" data-end=\"1330\">docencia universitaria en Medicina<\/strong>, impartiendo asignaturas como <strong data-start=\"1361\" data-end=\"1405\">Microbiolog\u00eda y Enfermedades Infecciosas<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1407\" data-end=\"1428\">Patolog\u00eda General<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1430\" data-end=\"1450\">Patolog\u00eda M\u00e9dica<\/strong> y <strong data-start=\"1453\" data-end=\"1499\">Rotatorio de Atenci\u00f3n Primaria y Urgencias<\/strong>, combinando la ense\u00f1anza te\u00f3rica con la tutorizaci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica hospitalaria.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1576\" data-end=\"1906\">Su producci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica incluye <strong data-start=\"1609\" data-end=\"1649\">art\u00edculos en revistas especializadas<\/strong>, participaci\u00f3n en proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica y colaboraci\u00f3n en la formaci\u00f3n de investigadores en el \u00e1mbito de las enfermedades infecciosas.
