Desde 2021 es <strong data-start=\"635\" data-end=\"752\">Co-Investigador Responsable del grupo de investigaci\u00f3n A-03 \u201cInvestigaci\u00f3n Cardiovascular para la Salud\u201d de IBIMA<\/strong><br data-start=\"752\" data-end=\"755\" \/>(<a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/ibima.eu\/es\/project\/a-03\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"756\" data-end=\"789\">https:\/\/ibima.eu\/es\/project\/a-03\/<\/a>).<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"793\" data-end=\"1072\">El grupo se integra en la Unidad Cl\u00ednica del \u00c1rea del Coraz\u00f3n del <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Hospital Universitario Virgen de la Victoria<\/span><\/span>. En este entorno, desarrolla su labor como responsable de investigaci\u00f3n traslacional, gracias al programa de estabilizaci\u00f3n <strong data-start=\"1021\" data-end=\"1041\">Nicol\u00e1s Monardes<\/strong> del Servicio Andaluz de Salud.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1074\" data-end=\"1413\">Su principal l\u00ednea de investigaci\u00f3n se centra en el estudio de los <strong data-start=\"1141\" data-end=\"1183\">sistemas de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n inflamatorios<\/strong> en el contexto de las <strong data-start=\"1206\" data-end=\"1232\">adicciones y el estr\u00e9s<\/strong> como factores de riesgo cardiovascular. Asimismo, es responsable de la <strong data-start=\"1304\" data-end=\"1360\">Unidad de Biomodelos con Animales de Experimentaci\u00f3n<\/strong> de la Plataforma ISCIII en IBIMA Plataforma BIONAND.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1415\" data-end=\"1966\">En el \u00e1mbito docente, es Colaborador Honorario en el Grado de Medicina de la <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Universidad de M\u00e1laga<\/span><\/span> desde 2020 y tutor cl\u00ednico desde 2019. Ha sido coordinador y docente del <strong data-start=\"1603\" data-end=\"1688\">M\u00e1ster Propio Universitario en Investigaci\u00f3n Biom\u00e9dica en el Contexto Asistencial<\/strong> (2019\u20132021). Actualmente es coordinador del <strong data-start=\"1733\" data-end=\"1774\">M\u00e1ster de Investigaci\u00f3n para la Salud<\/strong> de Editorial M\u00e9dica Panamericana, acreditado por la Universidad Francisco de Vitoria. Cuenta con acreditaci\u00f3n ANECA como Profesor Ayudante Doctor, Profesor Contratado Doctor y Certificado I3.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1968\" data-end=\"2305\">Ha codirigido <strong data-start=\"1982\" data-end=\"2007\">ocho tesis doctorales<\/strong> en las \u00e1reas de Medicina y Psicolog\u00eda, y ha tutorizado numerosos Trabajos de Fin de Grado en Medicina. Desarrolla una intensa labor de supervisi\u00f3n de t\u00e9cnicos e investigadores en formaci\u00f3n, tanto nacionales como internacionales, a trav\u00e9s de programas propios, Erasmus+ y convenios internacionales.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2307\" data-end=\"2693\">Es Investigador Responsable de contratos predoctorales PFIS-ISCIII y jefe de grupo de contratos <strong data-start=\"2403\" data-end=\"2425\">R\u00edo Hortega-ISCIII<\/strong> en el \u00e1mbito de la cardiolog\u00eda. Asimismo, act\u00faa como evaluador de proyectos para ANEP, ISCIII, la Delegaci\u00f3n del Gobierno para el Plan Nacional sobre Drogas, la Fundaci\u00f3n Progreso y Salud de Andaluc\u00eda, la European Science Foundation y distintas COST Actions europeas.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2695\" data-end=\"2911\">En el \u00e1mbito internacional, realiz\u00f3 una estancia postdoctoral en <strong data-start=\"2760\" data-end=\"2794\">The Scripps Research Institute<\/strong> (La Jolla, California, EE.
