The fundamental objective of the Doctoral Programme in Information Technology is to provide students with an education whose depth and duration allows them to clearly comprehend the complex, dynamic field of information technology and equips them to face the challenges of cutting-edge multidisciplinary research in the field. In this regard, the programme seeks to train new doctors with internationally competitive skills in any of the lines of research. The lines of research include software engineering, security, networks and embedded systems, evolutionary and bioinspired algorithms, parallel architectures and algorithms, computational intelligence, and smart systems.
