The Project Management Unit ensures efficient management of grants, subsidies and research projects, carrying out control, execution and justification programs in accordance with current regulations, being financed with regional, national and international funds, as well as as competitive or non-competitive. The main services it offers are the following:
- Advice and support for the research of the researchers’ projects, to optimize resources and minimize risks.
- Financial control and budget monitoring of the research project portfolio of researchers: – Validation of expenses charged to projects and verification of their eligibility – Planning and processing of requests for changes of items, new expenses, extensions, additions and deletions of the research team to the funding entity – Preparation and submission to the researcher of a report on the budget monitoring of research projects.
- Preparation of economic justifications for research projects, follow-up, and final.
- Carrying out internal audits of research projects.
- Communication with funding entities.
