MASTER'S DEGREE IN ADVANCED BIOTECHNOLOGY

Objectives

  • Knowledge and understanding of the biochemical, molecular, cellular and physiological processes of organisms useful in biotechnology.

  • Basic and applied knowledge enabling them to design systems for the production or modification of products of biotechnological interest.

  • To introduce the student to aspects of biotechnology that determine or limit its use in society.

  • To build skills in experimental design, project preparation and presentation, and data presentation.

  • Analyse the practical applications of this science in industrial sectors covering the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the creation and management of biotechnology companies.
