The unit’s mission is to provide services to investigators at the Institute and associated laboratories as well as to visitors from other research institutes. The unit also contributes to the conduct of research projects and promotes cooperation among groups.

This platform offers infrastructure and equipment for the physical and chemical synthesis and characterization of molecules and nanomaterials and their interaction with biological samples.

The Chemistry Unit is located in Málaga TechPark and encompasses various facilities, including the General Chemistry Laboratory (floor 1) and the Chemistry Unit (floor -1)
