IBIMA Plataforma BIONAND is located in the Málaga TechPark – Technology Park of Andalusia. It also has other centers dedicated to clinical research at the Regional University Hospital of Málaga, the Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital, Primary Care, and the University of Málaga.

Our building is located in a technology park that also houses entities from the business and university sectors. It has a surface area of 6,500 square meters. The center has four floors where the research groups’ laboratories, research support services, and spaces designed for meetings and events are located.

The distribution and structure of the laboratories have been designed to create open spaces that favor interaction among professionals, promoting complementary work, collaboration, and interdisciplinary projects.

The building houses the latest technology in the biomedical research field for conducting cutting-edge, innovative research, creating synergies among the various research groups with the biotechnological business sector and the pharmaceutical industry in order to translate research into improvements to citizens’ health. The building is also designed to promote citizen participation in the Institute’s work by including them in the center’s daily activity through scientific dissemination, citizen participation, and educational opportunities for future professionals in the field.
